for your ref I have started using DD salt - however i did read that when you change salts you get a bacteria bloom - no kidding - I changed lights /salt & flow all uprated

then I get a a cyno attack (does not make sense :headbang: ) the only thing I can think is is with more flow its regenerated the cycling from months ago

I just got home on Wednesday and the green hair algae isnt as bad as I thought it was, but...... same as yourself, Cyno all over the sand bed and up the sides of the glass.

Got my new CUC yesterday, but the sea hare didnt make it, and I am p***ed off already re-righting snails, everytime I look theres one on its back.

Im hoping its not as bad as that - only very slight thin areas on LR only (on lee side of flow) but I had got rid of the original cyno months ago

since then i've got bigger skimmer/ozone uv + faster flow ???
